Event Details

Departing from the East, we are encountering the world.
From the ground up, we are imagining into the future.

We are seeking not repetition, but creation.
We believe that the vision of tomorrow is a complex system -narratives demanding interdisciplinary insight.
We believe technology should not be cold; it must pulse with humanity and the warmth of art.

On August 17th, beneath the Vauxhall arches in South London, the night venue Fire will host a gathering of visionary doers: leading artists, migration scholars, cross-disciplinary musicians, futurist scientists, and socially engaged art practitioners. They hail from universities, museums, street projects, and cutting-edge labs.

That evening, you’ll witness:

  • Frontier academic dialogues set against dazzling lights and visuals

  • Mind-bending cross-cultural, cross-disciplinary conversations

  • Works by top digital artists infused with Eastern philosophical depth

  • You’ll also take part in Qigong practice in the night club, dialogues with “future people,” and co-creative experiments at the intersection of art and technology

  • The pop•futurism DJ/VJ after party covers genres from kpop to experimental

<WE, 2046> is a crucible of ideas, a stage for sparks to fly, and the launch of a new platform. We can’t wait to welcome you into Fire and imagine the future together.
